About Dr. Broyles

Justin Broyles, MD, MPH

Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery: Harvard Medical School

Dr. Broyles completed integrated plastic surgery residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital followed by fellowship in reconstructive microsurgery at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Dr. Broyles joined the faculty at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in 2019 where he has serves as the co-director for Oncoplastic Surgery as well as the Harvard Medical School Site Director.  He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. Broyles has conducted numerous clinical research studies and published extensively in the fields of breast reconstruction and microsurgery.  This work has been presented at multiple national and international meetings as well the public media.

Dr. Broyles brings expertise in oncoplastic, implant-based, and microsurgical breast surgery as well as aesthetic surgery of the face including rhinoplasty and facelifting.  He firmly believes in tailoring the solutions of each patient to their individual needs and preferences.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Dr. Broyles’ research interests include strategies to improve efficiency and optimize resource utilization in surgery, approaches to improve the surgical experience for patients, value based healthcare, and clinical outcomes in breast reconstruction.
